HAMMONTON - For the first time in the organization’s history, Hammonton First will open a campaign headquarters on the White Horse Pike. The headquarters will be located at 240 S. White Horse Pike, in the former Sears Hometown Store in the Blueberry Crossing Shopping Center.
Beginning on Oct. 1 and running through Election Day on Nov. 8, the headquarters will be open daily, seven days a week. Voter registration forms, vote by mail applications, candidate information, town information, campaign signs, and more will all be available at the headquarters. The headquarters is staffed by volunteers and a grand opening celebration date will be announced soon.
Brooke Sacco, Dan Bachalis and Sam Rodio are running for Town Council on this year’s Hammonton First ticket. Mayor Steve DiDonato and Deputy Mayor Tom Gribbin are also affiliated with Hammonton First, which is a local organization comprised of independents, Democrats and Republicans dedicated to improving the community of Hammonton and was formed in 2005.
“Hammonton First has a long tradition of always having a campaign headquarters,” Bachalis said. “We do this so that we can continue to stay connected with the residents of Hammonton. This is the first time we are opening on the White Horse Pike, and this is very intentional. We want everyone to know that the entire town is very important to us. The downtown has seen an incredible renaissance since Hammonton First was founded. While there is still more work to do, we want to take the things we’ve learned downtown and adapt them to fit the needs of the Pike and all other areas of Hammonton.”
