Even if the winter weather isn't conducive to a hike, you can surround yourself with the beauty of the Pines.
Pinelands photos captured by photographer Albert D. Horner of Medford Lakes are on view at D&R Greenway Land Trust, Monday through April 7.
“Mystery and Magic – New Jersey’s Pinelands” features 30 of Horner’s landscapes including Wharton, Brendan Byrne and Penn State forests and the Franklin Parker Preserve.
D&R will host a meet-the-artist reception from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, March 3, in the Johnson Education Center’s Marie L. Matthews Gallery.
Horner's mission is “to create a broader awareness of this mysterious and magical region and, in turn, help preserve it.”
