CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE - A 23-year-old Millville man was arrested last week on charges that include sexual assault and possession of child pornography stemming from a case in Ocean City, according to authorities in Cape May County.

The suspect is identified as Patrick Hartman, a resident of McDougall Terrace.

On May 4, Hartman was arrested in Ocean City while several electronic items and photographs were seized the same day in a search of his home in Millville. He remains in Cape May County Jail.

County Prosecutor Robert L. Taylor and Ocean City Police Chief Chad Callahan disclosed the arrest in a press release Monday.

Taylor also noted assistance from Homeland Security Investigations, ICE-Division; Customers and Border Protection, Office of Air and Marine; the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office; Millville police; and the New Jersey State Police, Digital Technology Unit.
