HAMMONTON - A drug investigation has led to charges against three farmworkers here, as well as the seizure of cocaine and methamphetamine with an estimated street value of more than $45,000.

Investigators also confiscated about $25,000 in cash, two vehicles and a gun, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said Friday.

Operation Crystal Ball resulted in charges against three workers at Columbia Fruit Farm,  which was raided Thursday along with a Hammonton residence, the prosecutor's office said.

A farm representative could not be reached for comment Friday.

It said investigators recovered 20 ounces of cocaine with a street value of about $28,000 and 11 ounces of methamphetamine worth more than $17,000.

Juvenal Duran-Almanza also is accused of distribution of cocaine and methamphetamine, among other drug offenses.

Moises Duran-Almanza is charged with possessing cocaine and methamphetamine with the intent to distribute.

Both are also charged with weapons and currency offenses, among other crimes.

Lopez-Hernandez is also accused with attempting to distribute a controlled dangerous substance.

He and Moises Duran-Almanza are allegedly in the country illegally and face deportation, the prosecutor's office said.

All three men were being held in Atlantic County Jail.
