Girls’ volleyball

Sept. 21

ACIT 2, St. Joseph 1 — St. Joseph won the second game, 25-11, but lost the opening game, 25-23 and the deciding game 25-18.

Mackenzie Fabrico recorded 8 kills, 7 digs, 4 assists and 2 aces for the Wildcats. Sarah Wible had 11 digs, 7 kills and 4 assists. Samantha McGlynn added 3 kills, 7 digs, and 6 assists.

Sept. 22

Paul VI 2, St. Joseph 0 — Fabrico had 5 assists, 4 digs and 3 aces in the loss. Wible added seven digs, a kill and two assists. Julianna Paolini had four kills and Claire Swift registered five digs and two kills.

Sept. 24

Kingsway 2, St. Joseph 0 — Fabrico recorded five digs and two assists and McGlynn added six digs in the loss.

Coming up — St. Joseph is at Pleasantville on Sept. 30 and Mainland on Oct. 1. The Wildcats host Winslow on Oct. 2 and are at Cedar Creek on Oct. 5.

Field hockey

Sept. 25

St. Joseph 4, Middle Twp. 2 — St. Joseph scored a pair of goals in each half in the victory. Julia Jones, Gianna Morganti, Grace Petrongolo and Gab Scocca all found the back of the cage for the unbeaten Wildcats. Carlina Sacco added two assists in the win.

Coming up — The Wildcats travel to Bridgeton on Sept. 30 and Holy Spirit on Oct. 2.

Girls’ soccer

Sept. 21

Atlantic Christian 5, St. Joseph 1 — Gabrielle Sirolli scored the only goal for the Wildcats. Shannon Murphy made 15 saves in defeat.

Sept. 22

St. Joseph 5, Lindenwold 1 — Kate Lillia and Taylor Breitzman both tallied two goals as the Wildcats cruised to a win.

Kayla Harris also found the back of the net and added an assist in the win. St. Joseph keeper Caitlin Jacoby stopped eight of nine shots.

Sept. 24

Cedar Creek 8, St. Joseph 0 — The Wildcats allowed six second-half goals to the host Pirates.

Coming up — St. Joseph is at Buena on Sept. 30 before hosting Lower Cape May on Oct. 2 and Cape May Tech on Oct. 6.

Boys’ soccer

Sept. 24

Cedar Creek 10, St. Joseph 0 — Cedar Creek not only shut out the Wildcats, but St. Joseph also failed to register a shot on goal. Cedar Creek scored five times in each half.

Sept. 25

Woodbury 4, St. Joseph 1 — Kyle Jones scored the Wildcats only goal of the game. St. Joseph keeper Josh Kahler made 18 saves.

Coming up — St. Joseph, which is looking for its first win of the season, hosts on Buena on Sept. 30 and is at Lower Cape May on Oct. 2 and Cape May Tech on Oct. 5.
