Girls’ soccer

Oct. 6

St. Joseph 4, Cape May Tech 3 – Nicole Cirigliano scored the game-winning goal in the second half to lift the Wildcats to a win. She also added an assist. Kayla Harris, Katie Lillia, and Taylor Breitzman also scored for St. Joseph.

Oct. 7

Wildwood Catholic 5, St. Joseph 3 – Harris scored two goals and Cirigliano added one for the Wildcats. Angela Frederick, Lillia and Jana Martini all picked up assists.

Coming up – St. Joseph hosts Lower Cape May on Oct. 14 and Pleasantville on Oct. 16. The Wildcats travel to Middle Township on Oct. 19.

Boys’ soccer

Oct. 5

Cape May Tech 4, St. Joseph 1 – The Wildcats’ Nick Borelli scored the team’s only goal.

Oct. 9

ACIT 6, St. Joseph 1 – Andrew Hutchinson scored the Wildcats’ only goal on an assist from Sean Heefner.

Coming up – St. Joseph hosts Salem on Oct. 15 and Middle Twp. on Oct. 20.

Field hockey

Oct. 5

St. Joseph 6, Lower Cape May 0 – Gianna Morganti and Carlina Sacco both scored a pair of goals for the Wildcats. Morganti also added an assist. Grace Petrongolo and Gab Scocca also scored for St. Joseph.

Alexis Orcutt made four saves for the shutout.

Oct. 7

St. Joseph 9, Cedar Creek 1 – Morganti scored four times to lead the Wildcats. Sacco and Julia Jones each scored two goals and Scocca added a one in the win.

Oct. 9

St. Joseph 6, Paul VI 5 – The Wildcats won a wild game against Paul VI with an overtime goal.

Sacco registered a hat trick and an assist to lead St. Joseph. Morganti added two goals and Scocca scored once.

Coming up – The Wildcats are at Middle Township on Oct. 14 and Buena on Oct. 16. St. Joseph hosts Bridgeton on Oct. 19.

Girls’ volleyball

Oct. 5

St. Joseph 2, Cedar Creek 0 – Mackenzie Fabrico recorded 10 kills, 6 assists and 1 ace as St. Joseph topped Cedar Creek, 25-13, 25-18. Samantha McGlynn recorded 17 assists and nine digs and Julianna Paolini had four kills and an ace.

Oct. 7

St. Joseph 2, Middle Twp. 1 – St. Joseph won the opening game 25-18 before Middle forced a deciding game with a 25-23 win. St. Joseph clinched the match with a 25-10 win in Game 3.

Sarah Wible led the Wildcats with 10 kills, 8 aces and 7 digs. McGlynn added 21 assists and 12 digs and Fabrico had seven digs and seven kills.

Oct. 9

St. Joseph 2, OLMA 1 – After losing the opening game, 28-26, the Wildcats rebounded by winning Game 2, 25-13, and a a long Game 3, 28-26.

Wible had nine kills and four aces, Fabrico added 14 kills and an ace and Allison Wichrowski registered 10 digs and four aces.

Coming up – St. Joseph is at home on Oct. 14 against Oakcrest and travels to ACIT on Oct. 16. The Wildcats host Pennsauken on Oct. 19.
