St. Joseph 85, Cape May Tech 53 – Marcellus Ross led the Wildcats with 15 points in the victory.
Dylan Amos, Devin Martin, and DeAndre Tull-Kennedy all scored 10 points in the win, which was the second straight for St. Joseph.
St. Joseph 110, Clayton 88 – Jordan Herrin led all scorers with 40 points as the Wildcats routed the Clippers in a wild game in Hammonton.
St. Joseph scored 36 points in the fourth quarter to extend its lead and seal the win.
Ross scored 19 points to complement Herrin’s effort. Martin and Kevin Witasick added 15 and 14 points, respectively.
St. Joseph 63, Millville 48 – Herrin had another standout game, scoring 23 points in the Wildcats’ victory.
Witasick added 12 points for St. Joseph.
Coming up – St. Joseph is at Buena on Feb. 10, Cedar Creek on Feb. 12 and Audubon on Feb 13. The Wildcats next home game is against crosstown rival Hammonton on Feb. 15.
St. Joseph 37, Cape May Tech 26 – Alyssa Gerdes scored 14 points and Carleigh Galasso added 13 in the Wildcats’ win.
Nicole Fox chipped in with six points for St. Joseph, which won its third straight game.
Egg Harbor Twp. 31, St. Joseph 29 – Gerdes led the Wildcats with nine points, but it wasn’t enough in the loss.
St. Joseph led by two heading into the final quarter, but were outscored 9-5 in the final eight minutes.
Central 44, St. Joseph 28 – The Wildcats suffered their second straight loss despite Marykate McLaughlin scoring 16 points and pulling down 15 rebounds.
St. Joseph was outscored 26-13 in the opening half.
Coming up – The Wildcats host their next five games. The home stand begins on Feb. 10 against Buena. St. Joseph then takes on Cedar Creek on Feb. 12, ACIT on Feb. 13, Hammonton on Feb. 15 and OLMA on Feb. 16.
St. Joseph 36, Salem 24 – St. Joseph’s Daniel Hatvany (152 pounds) and Keevon Berry (195) both registered first period pins in the victory. The team’s other points came on forfeits.
Oakcrest 58, St. Joseph 15 – The Wildcats’ Anthony Cheeseman (heavyweight) recorded a pin, and Berry (195) won by decision.
Ocean City 69, St. Joseph 6 – Evan Fallon’s pin in 49 seconds at 120 represented the Wildcats’ only win and points of the match.
Winslow 54, St. Joseph 18 – Fallon (120) and Mike Mascioli (220) both won decisions in the setback.
St. Joseph’s other points came by forfeit.
Coming up – The Wildcats are at Lower Cape May on Feb. 10 and at Burlington on Feb. 13 for a quad meet with Cedar Creek and Camden.
