Group III South first round
Highland 44, Hammonton 29 – The Blue Devils’ Sara Peretti scored a team-high 11 points, but it wasn’t enough as No. 15 Hammonton fell to No. 2 Highland in the opening round of the playoffs. McKenna Forry added 10 points in the loss.
The Blue Devils trailed 12-4 after the opening quarter and entered halftime behind by 11 points.
The loss ended Hammonton’s season. The Blue Devils finished with a 12-14 record.

Toms River East 60, Hammonton 52 – The No. 14 Blue Devils’ season came to an end against No. 3 Toms River East in the opening round of the sectional playoffs.
Hammonton ends its season at 11-16.
St. Joseph
March 1
Non-Public B South first round
Roselle Catholic 81, St. Joseph 68 – Jordan Herrin poured in a game-high 25 points in the Wildcats’ playoffs loss.
No. 12 St. Joseph fell behind by 11 at the half to No. 5 Roselle Catholic. Roselle Catholic put the game out of reach with a 21-12 third quarter.
Terrence Pough scored 17 points and Marcellus Ross added 11 in the opening-round loss.
The Wildcats end the season with a 19-8 record.
