Food truck festival returns to Downtown Hammonton
HAMMONTON - To kick off the summer activities in Downtown Hammonton, MainStreet Hammonton is pleased to host the second annual Hammonton Food Truck Festival on June 11 from 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. More than 30 unique food trucks and trailers will roll into Downtown Hammonton and line up along Bellevue Avenue, Central Avenue, Second Street and North Egg Harbor Road.
The Hammonton Food Truck Festival, the first of its kind in Atlantic County, will build on last year’s success with 50 percent more trucks, 50 percent more entertainment, 50 percent more space and 100 percent more fun. The festival will feature a diverse lineup of street eats that are sure to satisfy every taste bud — local picks including Tacos Al Carbon and Sweet Creations and regional favorites including Tony Boloney’s, Luke’s Lobster, The Cow and The Curd, and Waffles De Lys as well as brand new trucks such as Bro-Ritto’s and Cannoli World. A full list of participating food trucks and a map with parking options will be made available on the Hammonton Food Truck Festival Facebook page at Facebook.com/FTFHammonton. On stage, live outdoor musical entertainment by the energetic, Southern New Jersey cover band, “Stealing Savanah” will perform a mix of rock, pop, top 40 and dance music on Central Avenue. And bringing the best from reggae, roots, rocksteady, dancehall, and ska, the Burnsiders will keep the dance party going all night long on North Egg Harbor Road. The “Starving Artists Fair,” hosted by the Noyes Museum, is back again this year where you can check out the regionally made art goods.
