The Hammonton Historical Society, located at 333 Vine St., will have special summer hours. During the months of July and August, the museum will be open Tuesdays, 10 am to 12 noon (closed Saturdays). In addition, there will be no monthly meetings during the months of July and August.
Currently on display are a variety of artifacts featuring the founding fathers and several businesses and banks. The Museum also has items for sale including plates, postcards, books and slate from the roof of the 1904 railroad station.
In addition, the historical society will be hosting a Gift Shop Closeout Yard Sale on Saturday, June 18. Stop by the museum on Vine Street from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. Proceeds benefit the Hammonton Historical Society.
