GLOUCESTER TWP. - Police say social-media tips led them to an arrest one day after an elderly woman reported a driver had exposed himself.

Douglass Zirbser, 45, was charged with lewdness, a disorderly persons offense. He was issued a criminal summons to appear in Gloucester Township Municipal Court.

The Wenonah man was arrested Friday, after police posted on Facebook and other platforms a photo of the Ford F-150 they said the suspect had been driving.

The victim reported that she was walking in the area of Morris and Railroad avenues in Blackwood on Thursday morning when a pickup truck driver asked her for directions.

When the woman approached the passenger side of the vehicle, she saw that the man had his genitals exposed, police said.

Police thanked the public for its assistance in their investigation.
