NJ snow totals so far: Here's how much snow has fallen in the Garden State
The heavy snowfall that buried parts of the Garden State is finally starting to let up but not before dumping more than 30 inches in parts of New Jersey.
The snow is only expected to add 2 to 4 inches during the day Tuesday at most, according to Accuweather, a far cry from the blankets of snow that fell the day before. Sussex County was particularly walloped with areas counting snowfalls up to 30 inches, according to the National Weather Service.
Here are the latest snowfall figures from throughout the state from the National Weather Service and Bob Ziff of the New Jersey Weather Observers.
Atlantic County
- Hammonton: 4.6 inches
- Mays Landing: 5.5 inches
- Estell Manor: 4.6 inches
- Somers Point: 0.5 inches
Bergen County
- Closter: 22.4 inches
- Westwood: 20 inches
- Mahwah: 18.5 inches
- East Rutherford: 18.3 inches
- Franklin Lakes: 17.5 inches
- Dumont: 17.5 inches
- Northvale: 16.5 inches
- Lyndhurst: 16 inches
- Fair Lawn: 15.0 inches
- Ramsey: 18 inches
- Bergenfield: 16.5 inches
- Hillsdale: 22 inches
- Paramus: 20.3 inches
Burlington County
- Burlington Township: 11 inches

Ziff of the New Jersey Weather Observers, warns that readings that show 30 more inches "need to be investigated and verified."
"In our experience, the very high readings were taken by untrained snow measurers using improper methods," Ziff said.
