Oct. 12

Gloucester 2, St. Joseph 1 – The Wildcats allowed a goal in each half of their non-league loss.

Oct. 13

Cedar Creek 5, St. Joseph 1 – Sean Heefner scored the Wildcats’ lone goal.

Oct. 15

St. Joseph 4, Salem 3 – St. Joseph scored a goal in overtime and picked up its first win of the season.

Coming up – The Wildcats are at Buena on Oct. 21 and host Holy Spirit on Oct. 26.

Girls’ soccer

Oct. 13

Cedar Creek 9, St. Joseph 0 – The Wildcats allowed six first half goals against Cedar Creek. The Pirates outshot the Wildcats 21-9.

Oct. 14

Lower Cape May 4, St. Joseph 1 – Nicole Cirigliano scored the Wildcats’ only goal. Mikhaela Mundy made 16 saves in the loss.

Oct. 16

St. Joseph 8, Pleasantville 0 – The Wildcats dominated the Greyhounds, snapping a three-game losing streak.

Coming up – The Wildcats host Buena on Oct. 2 and Doane Academy on Oct. 24.

Field hockey

Oct. 14

St. Joseph 2, Middle Twp. 0 – Alexis Orcutt made 12 saves to post a shutout win for the Wildcats. Carlina Sacco scored a goal and added assist and teammate Gianna Morganti registered a goal.

Oct. 16

St. Joseph 8, Buena 0 – Sacco scored four goals and set up another as the Wildcats won their 11th straight game.

Gab Scocca scored and had an assist, and Julia Jones, Morganti and Grace Petrongolo each scored a goal. Orcutt needed to make just one save for the shutout.

Oct. 17

St. Joseph 2, Holy Spirit 0 – After a scoreless first half, Scocca scored a pair of second half goals to lift the unbeaten Wildcats to victory. Orcutt made three saves in the shutout win. Jones added an assist for the Wildcats, who registered 24 shots.

Coming up – The Wildcats host Millville on Oct. 22 and Pitman on Oct. 23. St. Joseph travels to rival Hammonton on Oct. 26 before hosting Holy Spirit on Oct. 27.

Girls’ volleyball

Oct. 14

St. Joseph 2, Oakcrest 0 – Sarah Wible recorded 12 digs, 6 aces and 5 kills to lead St. Joseph. Julianna Paolini added eight digs and three kills and Claire Swift had seven digs and four aces.

Oct. 16

St. Joseph 2, ACIT 0 – Samantha McGlynn had 7 digs, 7 assists and 3 kills as the Wildcats improved their record to 9-9. Paolini registered five kills and Mackenzie Fabrico added three aces in the win.

Coming up – The Wildcats travel to Absegami on Oct. 21 and then host Pleasantville on Oct. 23 and Mainland on Oct. 26.
